    Used Evap Canister

Does anyone know where I can get a used Evap canister for a 1999 Cadillac Catera. I live in Brampton Ontario. When I fill my car with gas the trigger keeps shutting off and I took it to a mechanic I know and he says it is the canister, although no codes are showing up. All the lines were blown out so it is not blockage anywhere. Running out of options. Sure don't have the money to take to a dealer.

There should be enough airspace around the pump nozzle in the filler neck to prevent excess backpressure buildup. Curious, because the canister and tank vent will NEVER pass enough air/vacuum relief to be the only source of pressure relief during fill operations........ but a restricted filler neck will trip a pump nozzle in a heartbeat.

I can't put 10 cents worth of gas in before the nozzle keeps tripping out. Takes forever to fill the car up. I have been thinking about just getting a funnel and filling it up by putting the nozzle in the funnel. The mechanic says he took the gas tank off and checked all lines, so I can only go by what he said. The part is available through the dealer but it cost $ 200 new and there are no sensors that come with it and even then the mechanic is not sure that it will happen again.
