Brakes pads (and rotors possibly) and radiator

Okay, so two things to do before I sell her, brakes and radiator.

I'm going to change the brake pads and rotors possibly, and I will definitely replace the radiator because I discovered a crack in the plastic on the driver's side.

Any precautions before i tackle these two jobs? And what are those metal lines going into the radiator? Are they pressurized?

Thanks. Honda or Subaru here I come.

Metal lines are trans cooler lines. Pressurized when running.

I've enjoyed owning the Catera, but it's spent more time sitting waiting for repairs than being driven. It has served its purpose and it need to go to an owner with more money.

    Thanks, MoistCabbage. Always helpful.

And I won't sell her right away, only when I have enough saved up.

I have the slotted discs on my Catera with the 04 GTO front calipers, brake lines and ceramic pads.

I bought the slotted discs from www.brakeperformance.com

I think GTO calipers won't fit with my stock 16" rims. I'm just gonna do basic all around. $35.99 at O'Reilly's for the full set of pads. Anyone know how to take the rotors off? I think it needs that stupid hex key.

The GTO calipers will fit on the 16" rims. My Catera has 16" chrome wheels and yes you have to remove the hex bolt to remove the rotors.
