    The steering gets tight after your on it. Hot ps fluid? Ps fluid cap leaking air? Start cheap the guy advance auto told me.. he said to check to see about getting new ps cap because it could he bubbleing air or something like that.

    Don't take advice from parts store employees. 99% of them have little to no knowledge of anything vehicle related. "Start cheap" means throw parts at it until the problem stops.

    If there's not fluid leaking from around the cap, it's fine.

    Have you checked the fluid level? Condition? Is it aerated (have bubble in it)?

    The guy I talked to was a mechanic and had a 98 Cadillac. Not cateta tho
