I've gotten another car and am looking to sell my 2000 Cadillac Catera Sport.
I just had the EBTCM replaced in mine, like others in the forum, but was lucky to have found one from a junk-yard in Texas. Also had a possible oil/coolant mix problem looked at but the dealer couldn't find anything...could be condensation after all? Still, I've realized that on my salary, I can't afford to maintain this car like it needs which is truly sad because in the year I've owned it, I've loved driving it. I didn't get any kind of warranty from the dealer and so any repairs (and anything on a caddy is expensive to replace!) come out my lint collecting pockets. I Also can't afford the gas for this thing which is why I went for a newer, more efficient car.
To any new-comers, this forum is a great tool to use in operating and maintaining your Cateras. Special thanks to Jeffery...the guy knows all there is to know on these things!
