2000 catear ground wires
Does anyone out there know the location of the ground wires in a 2000 catera? I would greatly appriciate any advice, previous exp, or even opinions, I have an issue with battery drain and want to make sure i have good ground connections.

Re: 2000 catear ground wires
Just trace the wires from the negative battery cable to where it is attached to the engine block. I can follow mine until it disappears under the front of the engine and I guess you have to get under the car to see where it goes.
I doubt that a bad ground cable would cause battery drain. It may keep the car from charging fully or reduce the voltage in the car.
How do you know you have battery drain? Are you sure your battery and alternator are good?
