Rear window regulator solutions?
I replaced the rear driver window regulator last year and also cleaned the guide channels so it would move more freely. A couple of months ago the passenger window regulator broke and I had to replace it. Now the driver regulator has broke again. I could just get another one from the junkyard for $37 or a repair kit on ebay for $45 but they'll probably break again soon too. Both windows move up fairly freely but it could be better. I could get brand new window guides which would probably lessen the strain on the regulators. I haven't researched that, but it's probably a dealer item and not cheap, plus IIRC they appear to be a pain in the pooper to change. Anyone else have this problem, and what did you do about it?
