Buzzing noise coming from Throttle Body where Throttle Position Sensor is located.

    Hello forum buddies,

I am experiencing quite a few problems with my 2000 Cadillac Catera. Of many, my main problem is that my engine will not turn over. I have a new battery installed and I am beginning to believe that my Crankshaft Position Sensor has gone bad. However, I get this weird buzzing noise under the hood that comes from my throttle body when I have the key turned to the on (II) position. I purchased a replacement throttle body unit (complete with sensor), installed it and I hear the same noise. HAVE ANY OF YOU EXPERIENCED THIS?!
Apparently, no one in the US is 100% certain they can diagnose Catera's, because my local Cadillac dealership is unable to help me. From this point on, it's all trial and error.
To validate my reason for believing my cps sensor has gone bad, I was experiencing the blinking (S) sport-mode light, loss of power whilst driving which felt like a minor transmission slip (not the case), and a couple of times having difficulties starting the engine. All of those symptoms occured before my Catera ultimately died (stalled) on my as I took an exit ramp off of the interstate and pulled into my local Sam's Club parking lot. Originally, I thought my fuel pump was the culprit .... I had it replaced, and my engine would not start still.
The buzzing noise that is coming from my Throttle Body seems to be a seperate issue.

I have same Buzzing noise coming from Throttle Body, i even went to junk yard to get another one twice, all of them was buzzing
if "S" blinking it mean u have transmission problem. Take it to AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care they do free diagnostic. If your car is cranking but not starting in my case when first time i got that issue i replaced Cam Shaft position Sensor (driver side, next to the cam cover) few weeks ago go same problem again and replaced Crank Shaft position Sensor (next to the oil filter) can remember if i have check engine light on Cam Shaft position Sensor but on Crank Shaft position Sensor i did, went to autozone - $50 no more problems. u can get same sensor online for $30

    PS.
Also in both my cases i could start the car but after like 5-10 cranks...

    Thanks for the reply, JohnJJO.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but am I correct when I say that your throttle body is still making that buzzing noise even after you had both the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors changed?
