    4 rear Plenum hoses

I just replaced the heater control valve in my 2000 Catera and realized I have a plenum hose that's not connected and appears to be broken off at one end. I know it's the second from the left (passenger side) the smallest diameter hose. but for the life of me I can't figure out where it's supposed to connect to....it looks like it's about the size of a 1/4 inch hose and has a couple of curves in it and when attached to the plenum, other end points toward the drivers side....any help would be appreciated!!

See if these Diagrams help ya!
    Vacuum hose:
    Catera Vac Diag.gif
    Crankcase Ventilation Diagram:
    Catera CrnkCase Vent.gif
    Emissions Diagram:
    Catera Emiss. Diag.gif

The hose you have broken appears to be (13) Crankcase Ventilation Primary.

EDIT: Found the Diagram showing where it connects! (Hose #9 on Crankcase Ventilation Diagram)

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Azmon:

Did that unconnected hose prevent the car from starting? My brother-in-law's Catera is not starting. As I was inspecting the Crank Position Sensor, I found the same thing you did. Any help would be appreciated.

jupiter57: Thank you for the info and diagram. It really helped me. My brother-in-law got a generic hose from the autoparts store and installed it. But need help getting the Catera running. See this thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
