    Euro Headlight problems

Hey guys, I got Euro Headlights from Germany that are TYC brand. The right one works fine, but the left one is very dim. Thats the low beam h1. the h7 high beams work fine one both sides. I dont think its a grounding issue because the old assemblys work fine. This is the second one I have had and both have had the same issue. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions?

    Re: Euro Headlight problems

Are both headlights dim with the low beam on? I had the same problem when I first got mine back in 2008. Its because most projectors are meant to be used with HID bulbs. Go on ebay or another site and buy yourself a good pair of HID's, and your problem will be solved.
PS. DO NOT BUY XENTEC!! POS brand.

Nice I like the angel eyes. Mines a 2000 non sport with the standard halogens...unfortunately its just the drivers side that seems to be dim...If I can't figure it out soon, ill just 'bake' them and make them custom like yours. Id like to get an HID kit, but im leary of getting in over my head....

Try wiring your the bulb directly to the battery see if its a wiring problem. Again when I initially got mine the wiring was a mess, also take a look inside there, on euro lights they have a little lever that flips the cut off line maybe its not flipped correctly (the drop should be on the left). You think you could take a picture at night so I can see what your talking about? Oh and thanks for the complement.

Wow man that looks really dim, but from what I can see it looks like the light is being blocked. You live anywhere close to yuma arizona? I'd take a look at it if your willing to drive down haha.

haha yea unfortunately i live on the other side in NC. I thought so too but played around with the little levers and had no effect. took out the bulb and swapped sides with them, no effect. Its cool im going to tear them apart and make a custom headlight

Cool, if you need any help or get discouraged go to youtube. Plenty of people who do custom retro fits, also look at theretrofitsource.com great place to buy quality projectors.

    Yomincarr...
I'm having the exact same problem. Dim low beams (projector lights). Swapped bulb didn't help. I'm out of options. Did you find a solution?

    Thanks!

For those of you who have done the HID upgrade to the Catera, Where did you put the ballasts? I got a complete kit coming for low/hi beam HID lights, now that's four ballasts I will have to put some wares, let me know of some good spots you guys have hidden them in.

    Thanks
