A/C Blower Fan

Does anyone among you knows how is the easiest way to get to the A/C blower fan? I wanted to remove it and check it and hopefully fix the noise that i get from it when i set the fan speed at third setting. I get a loud vibrating sound whenever i set it beyond two bars in the fan speed setting. And another thing, i am not getting heat on the passenger seat side of the A/C. I tried the advice to reset the actuators by pressing the AUTO and OFF buttons at the same time for more than 5 secs. but it didn't work. And I don't know how to get to these actuators because there is another advice to resink them. Anyway, I hope that anyone among you owners have an idea on these two problems that i wanted to solve. Thanks a lot and happy holidays to all.

Re: A/C Blower Fan

I have the same problem. There is no heat on the passengers side, it only blows out cold air. I took mine to a local GM dealer cuz theres not a Caddie dealer near me, and they said it was that the acuator was stuck so they went in and "unstuck" it. Well like 2 weeks later there was no hot air on the passengers side again so I went back and they said that I would have to buy a new one... which will cost me like $80. This probably dont help you out any but I thought I would just tell you. Angel

Re: A/C Blower Fan

I realize that it may be the actuators getting stuck or probably needing some replacement. But I would like to try it my self first if only i can get there. Thanks though.
