I had a bad tensioner pulley for the accessory belt; it looks like the bearing was crushed. Anyway, I slipped the pulley off hoping that the tensioner adjustment would be obvious once the pulley was removed. I have searched and still cannot find how to relieve the tensioner so I can slip the accessory belt back around it. I haven't picked up the manual yet, and I'm sure it's in there, but can someone PLEASE help as I need the car back on the road tomorrow morning!!! Thanks for the quick replies.
Re: Need Immediate Help with Accessory Tensioner!!
Position a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise. Theres a reciever for the wrench itself on the tensioner, where the pulley is.
