it's under the driver's side dash, behind the brake pedal lever.

    Re: No Brake lights?

Be careful the cruise control switch is located there as well. Press the brake pedal down as far as you can, feel under near the brake pedal shaft and you will feel two plungers. The top one is the stop light switch! It has a four wire attachment. I broke mine off to replace it, so be careful to break the one with the TOP plunger. I had to drill out the rest of the plastic to get it ready for the new switch.

Once you get it all out, look at the new switch. Feel underneath where the switch need to be replaced-you will feel a slight cut in the mounting hole on the left. That will keep you from getting frustrated trying to insert the new switch. If needed, shave a little off the new switch and it should snap in.

Once you have it mounted, wires connected, you should be set.

If you cannot shift from park (brake to shift), peel off the shift boot, press the yellow tab and you can shift all gears. I had to take the latch on the park safety and wire the latch so that I could shift w/o problems-you may have to do likewise and I don't miss it. I have brake lights again! P.S You can purchase the switch from O'Reilly's for $20.00
