The low beam and hi beams use an H7 bulb.

I have a '98 and they should be the same.

    Hope this helps.

Don't bother with the cheapos, or non Xenon $100 parts store replacements. The color isn't anything like the OE bulb, and the quality/lifespan is nowhere as good.

Here is the OE (for the Seville at least) Phillips Xenostart 4,300K bulb:

I'd recommend replacing them both. The color changes over time, and the second one usually fails shortly after the first.

You save a few bucks if you order 2:

do you have any idea how unsafe those lights are at that color???
You might as well just tape some flashlights to your hood instead. The flashlights would probably give you more usable light than the 12k lights ever would. You should never go above 8k ever, and even that isn't the best. You get the most lumens between 5k - 6k. Factory uses 4300k.

4,300K bulbs (which, as posted, are what the OEM bulbs are) produce the highest light output. They are almost pure white, with a slight yellow tinge. 5,000K is considered pure white. 6,000K have a slight blue tint, and are the highest I'd recommend. Anything higher than that usually ends up getting you pulled over, dark blue or purple will DEFINITELY get you pulled over.

12,000K are technically brighter than standard halogen bulbs, but because of the color of the light, they are next to useless if you actually want to see where you're going at night....... which is kind of the point of headlights.

I used to have 12,000k, and I could not see anything. I switched to 8,000k (white) and it was nice. After they went out, I switched to 3,000k (yellow) and I love it. And no, I haven't been pulled over.

8,000K is pretty darn blue on the Kelvin scale, but not all manufacturers rate their bulbs accurately. Yellow headlights (if they are in fact, YELLOW) are illegal, I wouldn't go recommending them without a disclaimer. Yellow auxiliary lights (fog/driving) are however legal in most states.

They are white coated with yellow, but it is pretty darn yellow...and I have yellow fogs. Nevada doesn't seem to care. It's different and it illuminates the road pretty well, except everything is yellow.
