    3 liter, under powered with poorly made parts. That I know for sure.

    Saab and saturn share this engine in the states opel in other countries

    54 degree DOHC 24 valve V6, produced in several displacements. 3.0 L in the Catera, L81

    Wow your a big help. Have so much to say but can't even answer the question properly. Don't know you still post here. Your comments are useless. Don't even know what engine our cars have so obviously you need to just stick to your rice burners.

    Let's not forget that a modified version of the Catera engine was used in the first two years of the CTS

    Call it upgraded rather than modified. The '03 - '04 CTS used the LA3 V6 which was pumped up to 3.2L. Building on the bones of the L81 it was fitted with the newer oil cooler and timing belt tensioner, drive-by-wire throttle, etc.
