Access lots of onstar related functions, NAV functions, vehicle data, remote start, horn honk, remote unlock...... A bunch of cool little features.
It's COMPLETELY and UTTERLY incompatible with your car, or any Catera for that matter. No amounts of mods would make it work, unless you were to completely rewire the car with a full complement of custom modules. Nothing in your car supports it, not to mention your onstar is analog, and GM has long since moved to a digital system, the older system can't even be activated any longer.
