Engine cooler?

I took my car to the dealership to get my heater control valve fixed and they tell me that I have another problem seems that my engine cooler is leaking and they want ME to pay $850 for the repairs @ Frank Kent Cadillac of Ft. worth LOL

Well after looking over the warranty I have I see that it says "blah blah....internal parts are covered" So why didn't the dealership fix it since its inside the motor. I mean if this was a simple wear and tear part that I am held responsible to fix on my own, then I wouldn't complain. But since it is inside the (removing the intake plenum is nesscesery) I can't mess with it.


Is there a manual that I can find to say myself some cash & :madtalkin &

Call Cadillac Customer service, and get them to look at the situation.. if you have a warranty thats from GM especially and it focuses on the powertain, it should be covered.

I'm sorry I ment "OIL cooler" Is that the same thing?

yeah... oil cooler.. if it leaks, it either takes coolant into the oil system or the opposite.. oil goes into the coolant. Not good.
