DO NOT...I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THE CADILLAC DEALERSHIP IN ROCHESTER HILLS. These ppl r crazy. I had oil leaking from my car. jus barely..like a few drops ery night. Accoding to them my car was leaking from every possible opening and i needed a complete engine reseal along with a new camshaft and headgaskets- about $5000 woth in repairs. I took the car to a family friend who owns a Mobile gas station w/ a garage. He looked @ it and replaced the valve covers for $300, it hasnt leaked since.I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THE CADILLAC DEALERSHIP IN ROCHESTER HILLS.

That's just dispicable. At least you didn't let them rip you off though. That's the type of stiuation that gives us technicians a bad name.

I'm not in Michigan, but I have to say, I've had nothing but positive experiences with a dealer here in Pittsburgh. Rohrich Cadillac has been exceptional to work with. Both for warranty and non-warranty repairs, they have been honest and fair and prompt in everything they have done. I had the same concerns about taking my car to a dealer, but these guys have bent over backwards to take care of my problems. I can't say enough good things about them.

Mastertech, I was a tech. at Saturn of Glenview, just outside of Chicago. Consequently where I bought my Catera. But I got laid off, along with a couple other guys 'cause business was really slow. So now i'm unemployed and can't find a job, have my new(well sort of) car, my brand new Mac toolbox, and an apartment I just moved into w/ my girlfriend with all to pay for and no way to pay for any of it.
Sorry for the sob story but i'm just at wits end. Would never break even if I decided to sell the Catera. Same goes for the toolbox, I just owe too much money. :drinker

Been there, my brother....it's pretty slow here, and we are reduced to surfing the Internet all day.... which would be funny if we were getting paid... .... but at least I get to hang out here..YAY Hope you find something soon, good luck!
