Wink Winter Wheels/Tires... now wheres the white stuff!!!?

Just swapped the winter tires on the car... if you remember a while ago I restored some Catera Sport wheels... and they ended up with the Bridgestone winter tires..

Here is how they look when I finished them...

Here is them on the car..

For the project I used some cheap aluminium paint from Krylon I think no metallic inside of it just plain grey.. n some clear coat.... Turned out great I think!

The rims are the Omega 2000 Standard on it 7.5 x 17 "with 235 tires.

I need this year, no snow tires, car is signed off is also safer, here take the women as the executioner.

    Nice tailgate you

And we know enough of the stuff:

Looks like we got the first dusting of snow this morning... so with that happy first snow to those living in Chicago or the area...

BTW that is a nice looking Opel there bud, I would love to own a white, and black to complete my Sport collection. The SPort Cateras were only sold in those 3 colors, and in 2001 there were only 1000 units sold, split that between 3 colors that makes them quite rare...

My car would probably be stuck in that. I need to get a set of snow tires. All seasons don't do very well in deep snow.

The main difference is the snow tire stays soft at temperature well into the freezing point and with the multiple snow channels it can grab onto snow much better... and then it can clean itself way better too... the allseasons just get hard and then they slide all over the place due to lack of grip...

I would not dare drive my car on snow without snow tires... difference is night and day.
