At GM parts direct it goes for about $103.00 excluding shipping. My car likes to eat these things. It seems like im putting one on every year or so. Anyways I just ordered another one (my 3rd) for $70 shipped from the UK. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=190466020766

Hope this saves some of you some dollars!!!

Hello all. What are the symptoms for a bad idler arm? I have a clunk when I pull into an elevated driveway, or hit bumps on the road. On smooth even pavement it's fine. I also wanders when I drive on uneven payment. Iv'e changes both the anti-sway bar links recently, and all the control are bushings have been changed. Maybe the sway bar bushings? I ordered and rec'd 2 sets of them " for stock" lol
    Regards, Brian

For me for the rear clunk these were the shocks. Missing exhaust hangars create a similar symptom. This can happen if you had any work done in the rear don't be surprised if hangars are missing from the exhaust as this will also cause a clunk on uneven, etc. It happened to me when a dealer job was done for leaking pinion seal near the rear differential and I believe they had to drop the exhaust in the process to get good access. My mechanic found a bunch missing and was wondering how the exhaust did not fall off. He is a good guy generally and put the hangars on for free.

    Cheers.
