    There are no outsiders here. Welcome. Your next duty is to post pictures of your Omega. We love the MV6 and you, you lucky man, have one. Is it Pre, Mini, or full on Facelift? Stock or modified? Five speed stick? Details please.

    Hey guys, I have some pics of her somewhere sat on the dyno, I will try to get them up. The spec is;

    99 MV6 pre-face
    X30XE motor
    R28 manual 5 speed
    LSD
    17 inch Irmscher alloys 235 width boots
    Black diamond discs and predetor pads
    Full group N stainless 3" exhaust and 100 cell cats
    8.5 magnacor leads
    platinum plugs
    Eibach proline springs lowered 30mm
    Bilstein B4 shocks
    Eibach fromt anti-roll bar,

    The plan at the moment is to remove the XE lump in favor or some LS2 V8 muscle with a T56 box and anything else I can rape off of a monaro, so it will be an ineresting project.

    Hey Hotrod, Just joined myself. Sounds like you have a sweet ride and nice plans for it! I'm sure we'll all be interested to see how it comes along.

    Re: Newbie

    There are a few owners here performing the LS1 swap. Search the archives for the threads. For the time being, grab a pair of Monaro front brake calipers and their hoses. They're dual piston versus the stock singles. Use C5 Corvette pads too. More contact area than stock. If she can't go like a Monaro she sure as hell will stop like one.
