97 Catera with Extra Hose in engine bay

I have a 97 catera with an extra hose near the rear of the engine in the middle of the car.
Its not one of the four hoses from the intake plenum. I removed the hose and cant remember where it goes.
Does anyone know if this hose is the drain hose from the baffle around the windshield. I noticed a small hole in the bottom of the baffle around where the hose is. The hose doesn't have a clamp or any marks on it and looks clean. It goes all the way to the bottom of engine but couldn't tell where. Just wanted a second opinion from someone. If you could look on you car or send a picture or a link. Thanks

Do not connect this hose to anything. There is a transmission vent hose which is connected to nothing and is in the area you describe. It opens to atmosphere or connected to nothing.

If you have a picture perhaps others may comment.

    Good luck.
