    brake pads

okay so i changed my front brake pads about a month ago when i put them on i noticed they were smaller height wise, so the brake pad only covered 3/4 of the rotor, i just said it was probably cause i got the wearever silver pads instead of gold. and im planning on putting on the brembo rotors i got on the car this weekend but when i go to buy brake pads no matter which brand or how expensive they are still undersized? i've tried three auto store with same results, has anyone else ran into this problem? i just need front brake pads that will cover the whole rotor, 01 catera non sport factory setup

I don't know if the following will help,

There are other posts where people have compared various pad dimensions as well.

    Cheers.

    Re: brake pads

All the stock pads are going to be 3/4 size the rotor. If you want them to cover the whole rotor you're going to have to upgrade your calipers to the 04gto calipers and c5 pads like on the link usedcat provided for you.
