    CD Changer problem....

Ok, this has me a bit confused...

My CD changer originally worked perfectly... shuffled through all 6 discs with no problem, played just fine, etc.

But recently after the car sat for 6 months with no battery, I reconnected the battery to find that the CD changer isn't working right. I can eject the cassette and reinsert it, and all it does is shuffle through the discs, and that's it. None of them will actually fully move into the playing position whatsoever, and all the stereo shows is "No Discs".

Hopefully someone can help me on this....a new changer is out of the question, meaning I'll probably end up just using a cassette adapter for my iPod if all else fails.

    EDIT - This is a replacement USA*SPEC SCD-G190V5 changer made in 2002.

    Re: CD Changer problem....

Well... I fixed it. Turns out one of the wires were loose in the plug... I tightened it up with a needle and now it works.
