    Oil filter Canister

Anyone had a problem getting the end cap off of the canister that holds the oil filter?

I went to have my oil changed and they said that the whole housing was turning, and that I needed to take it to the dealer to have done.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thumbs upRe: Oil filter Canister

I have had the same problem once. The first time I changed the oil on my 99 catera the housing cracked. When I removed the housing I had an Idea. I designed an adapter that was able to let me use my choice of either a PF47 OR A PF52 OIL FILTER. I choose to use the PF52 filter since it is larger and will give better filtration. I have these adapters for sale for $25.00 shipping is included. just e-mail me for information.
