Question I'm back, with a new problem

Remove this ad
So the problem now is, when I go to start my car in the morning I have to let it run longer than normal before I can drive. If I dont, and go to put it into reverse it chugs and shakes like it is going to die, it has died 2 times actually. And when the rpms slow and its okay to back up out of my drive and go somewhere, its like my car isnt wanting to get up and go like it used to. I put my foot on the gas and it goes up to 10-20 mph. Then all of a sudden, it gets it "get up and go" and will go faster then 20. I know there is something wrong...obviously , not sure what it is and i havent had much time or money to hit up the mechanic. Also, my families choice mechanic doesnt like working of these

Umplug your MAF and see if it stops. If is does, it's time to replace it.

MAF - Mass Air Flow sensor. It is a sensor that measures how much air is being pulled into the engine to adjust the air/fuel ratio for optimal performance.
