    Re: 2000 catera

Cateras are notorious for Front End Bushings deteriorating and splitting. Least case causes rattles and worst case causes premature tire wear and cupping with shimmy and shake thrown in for good measure. The place to start are the downlinks between the strut and anti-swaybars. Grab the link and give them a good tug. Any play? Replace them. Still rattling? Then It's probably the Lower Control Arm Bushings. Read my research regarding improved bushings and suspension parts for our Cateras.
