Don't be an A$$, when someone has an idea they will post it. When you post crap like this it turns people off from helping you out

    Re: radiator fans

I have a 2000 Catera, and the same front radiator fans quit earlier in the summer. Turns out it was one of the relays. Not sure which one it was, but I think that the one for the horn is the same number (type). so I switched those two and now I have fans that work, but no horn.

    Good luck.

Mine runs a smidge above half, if you get higher than 3/4 you might need a therostat replaced

    Re: radiator fans

Mine usually runs just under half, When i got it though it ran slightly over half and i just switched the coolant from normal green stuff to DEX cool.

I also have a rad fan that doesn't run, but it's because something is blocking it or a bearing is destroyed.

I'm running dex cool also. Like I said, unless the gauge climbs up I wouldn't worry about it.

    Re: radiator fans

Does anyone have the service manual for removing the radiator fan? Mine is about to die, making a funky noise, and i have no idea on removal. Its the fan on the engine side of teh radiator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Don

Don't think so. I bought it with 35k on it and now have 78k on it and I didn't hit anything. It just all of sudden started to make a noise.
