I was wondering how do you relieve the pressure of the fuel line and where exactly is this located?

    this is from all data

1 Keep a shop cloth and a container ready to capture any spilled fuel.
2 Loosen the fuel filler cap.
3 Perform the Fuel Pressure Release procedure.
4 Firmly grasp the fuel filter and remove both of the bolts at the fuel line fittings.
5 Loosen the fuel filter retaining strap.
6 Remove the fuel filter from the vehicle.

    FUEL PRESSURE RELIEF PROCEDURE

1 Loosen the fuel filler cap to relieve the tank vapor pressure.
    2 Turn Off the ignition.
3 Disconnect the negative battery cable in order to avoid any possible fuel discharge if an accidental attempt is made to start the engine.
4 Remove the intake manifold top cover.
5 Connect the gauge J 34730-1A to the fuel pressure connection. Wrap a shop towel around the fitting while connecting the gauge in order to avoid any spillage.
6 Install a bleed hose into an approved container and an open valve to bleed the system pressure. The fuel connections are now safe for servicing.
7 Drain any of the fuel remaining in the gauge into an approved container.

    good luck

    INSTALLATION

Remove the protective caps from the new filter.
Install the filter in the retaining strap noting the direction of the flow that is indicated on the filter. Install the new filter in the same position as the old filter.
Clean the fittings on both of the fuel lines and on both of the bolts.
lnstall/tighten the bolts at the fuel line fittings.
Install the fuel filter bracket mounting bolt.
    Tighten the fuel filler cap.
Crank the engine for a few seconds (if the engine starts, turn off the engine) and then check for any fuel leaks.
