Finally getting this car up and running. However, still have a
problem in turning the security system off. Now that I have power to
all systems, (a 80 amp fuse on the battery was removed). The security
systems keeps flashing the headlites and honking the horn. The good
news is that with the headlites on, the system seems to be off, and
the car is driveable.
I try locking and unlocking the door to no avail. With the key and
with the door lock button inside. No FOB.
Is there a separate security module or relay that may need replacement?
1999 Catera, standard model.

A FOB may solve your problem.
