starting in sport mode

has anyone figured out how to make the transmission default to sport mode? I've worn the S off mine from clicking it so much.

Re: starting in sport mode

If someone can give you and answer that works, it would make a lot of Catera owners happy. I have been wondering how to do that for the over 11 years we have had our car.

I think what happened is that GM was forced to make the non-sport mode the default to meet the CAFE standards.

Yeahhhh, I don't think that's possible. Unless you're GM certified and wear 1" thick glasses...

Re: starting in sport mode

You got a point here. Need to find out which wires have to be powered constantly

Re: starting in sport mode

well if you wanna do it a ghetto way just go down the the fuse block and hook it up to a fuse if your looking for a key on power source then what ive used is the little bulb by the ash traythe wires are eaisly hidden and its a 12v source. for a constant power you can tapp off of the radio or possibly the chairs either way good luck.
