Bump steer!!!

I know I need new struts, I have gto rears, What parts contribute most to the god awful bump steer in a corner? Lower bushings on the a-arms?

do an alignment

I changed my rear shocks and my tie rods and had the same problem. I though my alignment was good sinc eI was going in a straight line, but aparently there is more to then that. don't know the details but I'm positive that's all you need

Im not so sure thars the issue, It was doing it before and after the rear shock swap and If im correct there isnt an adjustment for the rear wheels as far as alignment right? SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON HERE...

oh, I'm not saying it's because of the rear shocks, for me it was from the tie rods being replaced. my mechanic says that it my need a toe or camber alignment.

Front tie rod ends will cause the car to experience a toe in/out change and that will cause it to go all over the road... I noticed it got real bad with mine and then I got new tie rods and it went away steering went back to the way it was when I got her... and then with the lighter wheels it disapeared completely... so I think wheel weight has some to do with it..

Last night I was looking around under the car and found that the front lower a-arm bushings were very loose. so much that a normal screw driver could move the whole assembly with just a little pry. Both sides. The BMW bushing swap is in my near future.
