air bag light on?

im not sure what to do about my air bag light being on, is there something i should check, and is it possible to do it myself rather than paying someone else to check into it?

No, you will have to go to the dealer for this, The Matco and Snap-on software doesn't recognize the Catera abs / airbag codes. Probably a seat beat receiver problem.
