Well, that's it, had my fun. Good car , only had electrical problems but either way it's time for it to go. I'm going with a BMW 745Li (01-04). Big step up. Better.

I got rid of mine a few weeks ago. Whenever I see one on the road, it brings back memories. But it's such a big relief to be able to drive without every single time waiting for some warning light to come on. I feel so much more at peace now. Good luck with your new ride!

Wow I guess the 96-99 really sucked because I have put a solid 35K on mine and its nearing 100K on the car, and so far I have had no issues what so ever, just the regular maintenance... and I drive it the way it was meant to be driven...
I just wish it was easier on gas but... if u want luxury you got to pay for it..

for the 99 model they re-did the drive train so it's almost mechanically identical to the 2000 and 2001 models.... I loved my '01. I had no problems with it and it was up to 128k,i put about the last 28k on it roughly but still no problems. just maintain it well, oil and filters!!!!!
