Hi,
enclosed pics of my latest addition, a 2003 Vauxhall Omega CDX. It is a V6 2.6 auto. I bought this as my daily commuter car so that i could keep my BMW for weekend enjoyment (in background). My wife loves her MGF convertible (summer use only).
Not much problems with the Omega (yet !), have carried out full service of the engine including timing belt and tensioner, next month due to change transmission oil and filter. Then replace all the dampers and springs, it has done 94,000 miles and the suspension is a bit 'loose'.
Damn! You beat me to the GTO spoiler. I have one in my bedroom waiting to be painted black. By the way, how does that metallic black look on gloss black car?
i think it looks fine.. you really cant tell that there is metallic in it at all unless you are staring at the spoiler pretty close.. if it was more noticable i would consider painting it regular black to match but i havent said anything about it to almost everyone i showed it to and only 1 person actually noticed and that was when he went up close to it to see the piece of shipping tape i missed.. lol
at first i wasnt crazy about the spoiler but now i wouldnt have it any other way.. it should look even better when i get some different wheels on it and get the windows tinted (this up-coming monday) =]
Sold! Took a big loss but I'm glad it's gone. Worst car ever. Had way too many problems with this car from day one of ownership back in 03', and I tried taking care of it. The Catera definitely isn't as good as it looks. New car: Honda Accord
I have seen the most problems in the 98 models,.....
Hooked up: I was looking at that same front cover, guess I'll have to opt to a diff one now. lol
..... lol well there is a total kick ass body kit for it online in u.k but a lot off money but sick ass hell!!!! for about 1,000 u.s i live in p.a so the salt will take a toll on it. was a texas car. runs strong and got 181,000 + miles on it. no problems with it at all.
