Re: Show us your Catera.

Very nice estate Steinmetz. Is it an MV6? Even without your screen name I can see the Steinmetz airdam though the pic is too dark to see if you have the side skirts too. The estate never made it to the US but if it had I'd have one. I like how you shaved the roof rack and added the black headlights and aftermarket wheels. My car is on tis site's first page. Welcome to the family cousin.

Re: Show us your Catera. (OMEGA)

Not technically a Catera, but an Omega (The original name for the model).

I prefer, and am working on obtaining, a set of your rear tail lights.

This is all Steinmetz kit. The wheels are 19" Snowflakes from a GM car known over here as the Vectra-C.

The color is "Petrol Blue" which I have yet to see on an American Catera, but I'd love to see one if anyone has a picture. (especially of the rear facelift tail lights on that color)

It is a 3.2 liter "Elite" which means it has all the toys you can get, but in addition has the MV6 (lowered Police spec.) suspension, a limited slip differential, rare charcoal gray leather sports seats, a stainless exhaust system, remapped chip (245bhp) and carbon effect inlays in the door cards and central console.

Re: Show us your Catera.

OMG!!! That is a beautiful Omega..Catera..aarrgh!! I want that interior!! I've got the tan leather but i JUST LOVE black leather..especially on a black on black car!! Good job there..seriously! I would like to know if the Steinmetz kits are still available as i'm going to buy one for a pre-facelift '97. You can do a trade if you want for the rear led on my car,n if you can find the same kind of rear trunk bar lights that you have on yours!! I like the bar but would like to change up the look.

Re: Show us your Catera.

Those are factory original. Some models came with a spoiler from the factory.

Re: Show us your Catera.

Looks great. Our cars are similar on the exterior with the black on black...very nice on the facelift model. Thinking about getting facelift hood and front bumper to swap out and GTO LED Taillights for the rear. That would look sweet!

Winter beater?

Whats up with those Dunlop tires that you got on there? you need some snow rubber man, and that thing will be a tank in just about any situation...

I upgraded to Snow rubber on mine and I am yet to get stuck, I drove through a park that was unplowed there was around 6" of snow and ice rain on top of it... the car seemed like it got stuck a few times but once you dig into the throtle the problem is solved!...
Snow tires for me from now on... otherwise nice car man!...

My next ride is gonna be Audi S8 with snow tires... for winter and high performance summer rubber on some 19s....
