97 Catera Electrical Problems

Hello everybody!

I have a 1997 Cadillac Catera and I have a problem (big suprise).

To start off the climate control doesn't work anymore, I checked the fuse and it was blown and replaced it several times and kept blowing them as soon as I would turn the car on. This has also caused the Front heated seats to stop working as well as the cigarette lighters.

Also the fog lights have stopped working and today the overhead lights stopped working.

What seems to be the problem, is it an easy fix and how much are we talkin?

Try removing the cigarette lighter and replace the fuse.....worked for me. Climate control and heated seats work fine now.

Check the windshield sprayer wiring. NOT KIDDING!
