car possessed????

Back up and running for the moment. But now a new problem has surfaced...
The drivers door lock is locking and unlocking at will. The dealership is convinced I am crazy. After an episode of locking and unlocking, the lock will come up only half way. If I pull it up all the way, it immediatly locks on me. Have had to exit the darn thing from the pass. side. Any ideas?? Thanks for all info and help with this car!!!!

D/C the battery and then reconnect, see if it resets... the electronics in this car are overly sensitive!

Re: car possessed????

First I don't have your particular car so I am going by former experience.

Had a Chevy/w electric door locks. Had it in the shop for some other work. Paid the bill and went out to get the car, unlocked the door and it locked again.

Inlocked it and got the door open, this time it did'nt lock until I started the car.

It turned out that the locking circuit had a short, and the delay locking was when the cb reset. The wiring went bad. this particular car had its electric door locks disconnected permanently when after a couple of seek and correct sessions, and wire replacement was unable to cure the problem.

This was how my car started this problem. Hope you have better results.

Re: car possessed????

no, replaced lock actuator, haven't worried about it because it is dead again in the driveway. Now it is back to the shaking and no power and stalling. Would put up for sale, but couldn't give this car to my worst enemy
