Catera Project... MAJOR ISSUE! HELP!

i picked up a 98 catera running like a TDI Diesel...

Bought rebuilt heads
head gaskets
head bolts
upper and lower intake gaskets
thermostat
water pump
valve covers
valve cover gaskets
etc. etc.

now i have very low oil pressure when the motors cold and ZERO oil pressure while its warm and the motor still ticks like a son of a gun...
pressure relief valve?
oil pump?
idk where all this is, how to get at it, how to test it,
whats even wrong with it?

also, idk if this is related or not but i found oil in the intake tubes before the head job.

NEED HELP FAST!!!

Classic symptoms like you have a crank and bearing problem, worn bearings,too much clearence.

so today i started it while it was cold again and the car started running just fine 40ish psi cold no ticking sounded great!!! then as the car warmed up... psi dropped and the ticking started slowly then got bad again...

crank and bearings... are you serious? man i should have just gotten a new motor...

do you suppose i could limp it for a few months with 20W-50??
