Question 97 Catera Ashtray
Anyone know if the ashtray is powered? Mine is stuck open and I cant push it shut. It feels like there is maybe something behind it, I dunno. How can I remove the thing to check it out?

It is spring loaded. Take the ash tray insert out and there is a screw in the center of the ash tray housing.

Powered Ashtray as in Power Window? No. Lift the inner tray out and see if it's not seated properly. At the same time look for any obstructions.

What I meant by "powered" is like on some caddy's the trunk will pull it's self shut via a motor. But I'll try to see if I can get it out.
