hazaed switch turns power on

Ok, I need help quick. I was hooking up a cd changer and when I hit the hazard switch after it was all back together, the power comes on as if I turned the key to the accessory position. The key is not in the ignition though. My flashers dont flash . When I start the car the blinkers dont work but if I turn on the hazards and then click on the blinker, the hazards flash! I unhooked everything I installed and it is still doing it. I need help guys. Thanks

ok, figured it ou. The thing that the haz. switch plugs into was upside down. geez that scared the crap outta me
