tinting the catera

Hi, I am new to the forum and I own a 1997 catera with working everything except the sunroof.

I want to tint all the windows on my baby but there are dot-matrixes all along the edges of the window, inbetween the weather strip and the glass.

A popular way of tinting dot matrixes is gluing the tint on, grinding off the dot- matrixes, or painting over it. However, with the the dot-matrixes located at such an unaccessible location, I actually cannot choose any of the above options.

So for you guys out there that have tinted this car before, please let me know what I can do about this.

Thank you

Re: tinting the catera

I recommend you have it professionally done. It's very hard to do it yourself and it isn't worth the time IMO
