I received the crest, thank you. I loved the packing. The styrofoam was a nice touch. Now all I need is the grille. The place I ordered from has stiffed me. Be warned. Do not do business with:

    http://tuningzubehor.com

It's a German vendor and this was the US store in California. I placed my order and they charged my VISA immediately even though they say they don't until the order ships. A month has passed and no grille. Emails go unanswered and the answering machine is maxed out so I can't leave a message. I've handed the matter over to VISA for a refund.

bummer elvin, by the way if you purchase the 3/32 self tapping nuts at the auto store. you need to squeeze the nut alittle to compress it to make it nice and tight when you screw it on the stud. warning,. be careful not to break the stud on the back of the crest. as in it is plastic. i made that mistake on my first try. good luck and post it when your done.

Anyway, how did you prep the plastic before painting, just scuff and buff with a nylon buffing pad?

(btw why did you change car plates between the pics? LOL... sorry noticed the Ontario plates, one thing I really don't miss from the Ontario side, I'm across Ottawa on the Quebec side now, so only back plate needed... whioch personally I think that car manufacturers need to rethink how the make the mounting position for front plates... example anyone seen the Solstice, nice fascia, then the add a liscence plate right on the t section of the rad air grills in the front... yuck, talk about destroying a front end from a design perspective).

Yup just scuff and then straight paint, I didn't want to have too many layers.
I didn't change the actual plate, the plates in both pics are photochopped. It was less time consuming to copy a bunch of W's for the second plate then it was to Chop MyOpel.
