    Tip for cleaning leather

Arrived home last night to find that I had put a pen in my back pocket and the ink had leaked all over my parchment seat!

Tried soapy water, washing up liquid and even white spirit!, nothing worked, lots of cursing and swearing followed.

Then the wife came home to the rescue. She removed it all in 2 mins using her nail polish remover. Not a trace left.

Thought I would post this in case it helps anyone.

That's a great tip fella thanks. Plus you get the bonus of getting high sniffing nail varnish remover on the way to work................or possibly a headache.

Just make sure to keep an eye on the seat as I think the alcohol might dry the seat out a bit. Glad you got it clean though.
