Concepts, Rumors and MORE! The SLS is rolling around in China as well - there's just too little activity to set it up as a main forum...

And that, is why I could NEVER live in the UK.

$1.73 US per litre equates to $6.54 a gallon.

I'd take $3 gas over that any day.

Why? What's the difference in fuel economy and then diesel vs. regular? Is it really that much?

Stingroo, your math is backwards. The UK gallon is bigger than the US one.

    (From Wikipedia)
1 UK gallon = 1.2 US gallons. So... 1 UK mile per gallon = .833 US MPG.

46 UK MPG x .833 = 38.3 US MPG. Nice, but hardly mind blowing.

    See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_per_gallon
