amps and sub under 600 bucks

the boss had me helpin her pick out stuff at best buy for her grandson for christmas,, when she said she was having it shipped i found the same stuff on sounddomain for cheaper and told her and she said well here take my CC and buy it from there

anyways this kid has a jeep and i was wondering if there are any super deals out there on 2 10s and a good amp for under 600 dollars

id stick with what you know and you know those infinitys sound good
id but a nice set of infinity and a nice clean kicker amp
for 600 bucks that kid will be rockin man!
some minor things NOT to forget though...
im assuming this is his 1st system so dont forget to get an amp kit (power ground remote wires and rcas) and a box obviously

o btw i have a vented box im prolly gonna end up giving the guy, maybe get some brownie points from the boss, and ive got plenty of excess wiring, enough to wire a couple of vehicles

i decided to keep it under her original goal of 500 bucks, im goin with the

infinity 611a amplifier
infinity 1052w 10 inch subs
a ported (vented?) box

anyways im sure its a jeep so this kid will definitely be rockin

this system will be similiar to the one in my cadillac and my caddy quakes, not as much as some of yours im sure but more than any around here

only thing i like more about kicker over infinity is they usually underrate their amps pretty good
my kicker 350.2 is rated at 350X2 it puts out close to 500 watts though true power

I've never been impressed with infinity subs. For $500 I would do a single 15" Type-R DVC2ohm with a Hifonics 1501BD amp, or a similiar hifonics that pushes out at least 1000watts at 1 ohm. Order a 0 gauge wiring kit from www.knukonceptz.com (cheapest and best wire you can buy) and have a local shop build a box. That would be around $600 and has potential to hit in the mid 140s if u build the box right. Those infinitys would be lucky to break past 135.

well the thing is, the kid doesnt know anything about systems so im sure as long as hes got some bass itll be good to him.

he specifically requested 10's, dont kno why, and he asked her to get em from best buy, which is what told me not to try too hard to get him really knockin, best buy was gonna charge 634 for the same stuff i ended up gettin at sounddomain for 429 shipped

I would still say a pair of 10" Type-Rs with a big ported box and a hifonics amp giving at least 750 to each. and they sell type-rs at best buy so you can tell him they from there.
