anyone install aftermarket reverse camera on their Cadillac?
i m thinking of getting this for those parallel parking squeeze.
according to this, the camera is powered by reverse light, so just tap into the wire.
i could put the monitor where the ashtray is.
can someone move this to audio/video? thanks

Just don't go with the licence plate mounted ones the frame or the bolt on they always come loose! Go with the upside down directly mounted to the inside lip of the trim like factory style! I spent the extra couple bux and got the night vision one mounted like I said I love it! And because I put in a compatible touchscreen deck it all blends primo! No extra monitors or hardware it comes on the screen when input it in reverse!
Definately worth it tho! My biggest fear driving my deville was backing into little kids in parking lots ! Peace of mind is priceless!

Re: reverse camera
I agree the license plate camera not that good and look like hell.
I used this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170860740618...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Extreme clear and good night vision. You could hook to any monitor you wanted or HU.
