05 CTS Aftermarket Sub to stock Unit

Hello, I recently bought this 05 CTS and want to add a sub-woofer to the sound system. I don't really like the open air sub. I went to the local car audio guys and they said they want 2.6k to install the system. I would rather just add a larger alt. and run a capacitor if i have to. I would like to run a sub off of the stock amp via disconnecting the OEM sub. If this is not possible i do not want to change deck. I prefer the DIC. I know a lot of people don't but i like some of my stuff it shows. Anyways the realest view of it i am thinking i will have to run sub input from the deck to a aftermarket amp outputting to a stronger sub. What can i do? What is the current sub and amp information? Thanks for any help you guys provide. I love this car

All you need is a Line Out Converter to add an amp and tied the sub to that..which wires to splice it into, i don't know though.
