Bose 6x9 replacement considerations
Considering new speakers for my 02 Eldorado Bose. Currently, I don't hear much of mid/high from the rear speakers, I am wondering if I purchase .INFINITY 693.11I 2ohm 6x9 if it would improve the mid/high frequencies. My question is, are mid/high frequencies being sent through the OEM Bose amp to the rear bose speakers currently? I know my 2002 aurora with the bose system only sends sub frequencies to the back 6x9 so purchasing nice full range speakers for this car would be a waist of $.

Eldo uses the rear 6x9s for mids and lows only. Front 4 tri mounts are for highs and provides mids via the enclosures.

Re: Bose 6x9 replacement considerations
The infinities will work, but the Bose amps will not mount to the the bottom of them, extend the wiring from the speaker to the amp(12gauge i think) and place the amps on the rear wheel wells, here's how when i installed my Infinities
