Auris freeDa is not a compatible iPod device (no steering wheel controls, Bluetooth)
I recently purchased the Auris freeDa 30-pin bluetooth module, and the AC Delco iPod cable for our cars. While the audio is passed through perfectly, (BT 4.0 aptX sounds really good for BT,) the data/control portion does not appear to be compatible. I have not been able to try any other Apple products to make sure the USB system works at all, but I have my doubts.
I was really hoping to use this with my Android cell phone and have the steering wheel controls work. Does anyone else have a solution for this? My ultimate goal is to tie into the stock screen with a CarPC of some kind, but that's pretty far down the road, honestly.
