I've recently put in a 10" touch screen on my Cadillac Carputer install. What software are you running. Also could you send me what ever skin you are using.

He got the LCD Screen from Ebay, it's a Lillyput screen 7" screen

Real slick install i really like it and thinking about a good way to get wifi/navi/touchscreen all in one without having to go buy a pioneer or kenwood double din. I have one question though how did you interface the factory sound system into the installion(meaning how did you get the speakers to play the sound from the carputer) is it a special adapter you need or something

My car has a Kenwood headunit. I go from my carputer into the Aux (CD Changer) inputs for the Kenwood.

The Kenwood sits in the armrest compartment.

Mbai2, are you still in Ann Arbor? my brother is currently at UofM. I'd love to check out your car-puter in action. I am usually down by ann arbor fairly frequently. I'm saving this info for my next project.

also how do you get the sound from the pc's soundcard to go out to the speakers in the car? i've never figured how to do it without something that goes through the head unit of the car via an fm modulator.

Is the DIC still functional. I know you said it on your site but I just had to ask because the weather info on your Carputer and DIC is different. Just wondering. It will be cool if do work with the Onstar and everything. Is the Car Phone sitll functional also?
